How ReFi Daily Chooses Projects to Potentially Fund

Our Rules Guide and Selection Criteria

At ReFi Daily, we do not fund hype.
We fund real regeneration, measurable impact, and long-term change.

Our goal is to turn attention into action and capital into regeneration. To do that responsibly, every project considered for support goes through a clear, values-driven review process.

This guide explains exactly how we choose projects and what we look for. whether your a micro to fully developed, you may qualify

1. Core Eligibility Requirements

Before a project is even reviewed, it must meet all of the following baseline requirements.

The project must:

  • Deliver real world regenerative outcomes
  • Operate with clear ethics and transparency
  • Align with ReFi Daily’s mission of ecological, social, or cultural regeneration
  • Be legally compliant in its operating jurisdiction
  • Demonstrate intent beyond short-term profit

Projects that exist only as concepts, tokens, or speculative financial products without real world impact are not eligible.

2. Regenerative Impact First

Impact is the most important factor in our decision making.

We prioritise projects that actively:

  • Restore or protect ecosystems
  • Micro to large projects
  • Support biodiversity and endangered species
  • Regenerate land, soil, water, forests, or oceans
  • Strengthen local or Indigenous communities
  • Preserve culture, knowledge, or ecological heritage

We look for measurable outcomes, not just good intentions.

Strong projects can clearly explain:

  • What is being regenerated
  • How success is measured
  • How impact improves over time

3. Transparency and Accountability

Trust is non-negotiable.

Projects must be willing to:

  • Clearly explain how funds are used
  • Share milestones and progress updates
  • Provide public or verifiable reporting
  • Communicate honestly when challenges arise

We favour teams that openly share both wins and lessons learned, and there story

Projects that hide financial flows, avoid accountability, or overpromise results are excluded.

4. Team Credibility and Governance

We look closely at who is behind the project.

Strong teams typically demonstrate:

  • Relevant experience or lived connection to the problem
  • Clear roles and responsibilities
  • Ethical leadership and decision making
  • Long-term commitment to the mission

Projects do not need to be large or famous, but they must be serious, capable, and grounded.

5. Financial Responsibility and Sustainability

ReFi Daily supports projects that can survive beyond a single funding round.

We assess:

  • Realistic budgets and use of funds
  • Long-term sustainability or revenue models
  • Responsible token or funding mechanics if Web3 is involved
  • Alignment between incentives and impact

Speculative token launches without regenerative safeguards are not supported.

6. Community Alignment and Inclusion

Regeneration works best when communities are included.

We prioritise projects that:

  • Engage local communities meaningfully
  • Respect Indigenous rights and knowledge
  • Avoid extractive or colonial models
  • Share value fairly with contributors and stewards

Projects must demonstrate that they benefit more than just founders or early investors.

7. Verification and Due Diligence

Before funding or promotion, projects may undergo:

  • Documentation review
  • Impact claims validation
  • Team background checks where appropriate
  • External partner or expert review

This protects our community, donors, and partners.

8. Ethical Red Lines

ReFi Daily will never support projects that involve:

  • Environmental harm or greenwashing
  • Exploitation of people, animals, or land
  • Misleading claims or deceptive marketing
  • Corruption, fraud, or illegal activity
  • Purely extractive financial schemes

If a project crosses an ethical line, it is removed from consideration immediately.

9. Pathways to Support

Projects may receive support through:

  • Direct funding
  • Community funding campaigns
  • Grants or sponsor introductions
  • Visibility, media coverage, and partnerships
  • Education, tooling, or ecosystem support

Funding is not guaranteed. Alignment and readiness matter more than speed.

10. Continuous Review and Evolution

ReFi Daily’s criteria are not static.

As regeneration science, finance, and communities evolve, our framework evolves too. We regularly review our standards to ensure they remain ethical, effective, and aligned with real world needs.

Our Commitment

We commit to:

  • Fair and transparent evaluation
  • Honest communication with applicants
  • Responsible stewardship of funds
  • Putting regeneration before returns

ReFi Daily exists to help build a future where finance repairs the world rather than extracting from it.
